Good Afternoon.  Thank you for your comment.  Housing Leeds is working on a City Wide implementation plan regarding this matter and will introduce traffic regulations in Multi storey car parks.  At present Parking services can only ticket cars who do not display their residents or visitor permit.

  • Share The over filling of rubbish on the communal bins on both ends of Granville road, Beckett street is an issue. Once the bins are full, the residents have no where to but there bags therefore are having to place them on top of the bins for collection. This is then causing issues as passers by are ripping open the bags and looking through them leaving them all opened on the floor. When the bin men come to empty the bins they are not taking all the excess rubbish so it is left again and is causing a issue with rats, mice openly running around the estate. There is cleaners that are employed by the council but I mainly see them on the flats or in communal areas on Granville road, Becket street. Whose job is it to clear all the rubbish left behind as this is a weekly thing now and it’s been ongoing for a while. I have informed Lacey turner on a number of occasions and she has followed this though but something needs to be put in place long term. It would help if the holes in that path in and around the bins were concreted up to start with has that’s where the vermin are coming and going. Good Morning Thank you for your question and for taking the time to send us this message.  I have spoken to your local Housing officer  and asked for an update on this.  The Housing Officer is looking into many different ways to address the problems you have highlighted but we are aware of the issues and we are trying our best to resolve.  I will keep in touch with you on updates when I receive them.  Thanks Julie
