Welcome to a new online community.

If you’re in a tenant, resident or community group in Leeds you can use this page to connect with each other, share ideas, offer hints and tips - as well as asking for help and advice from likeminded groups. Using this page you can:

Let others know the amazing things you do:

  • Share knowledge – if something has worked for you, it might work for others
  • Make new contacts
  • Ask for help on something you or your group are struggling with, problem solving together
  • Share opportunities like training or funding
  • Arrange to connect outside the virtual world and meet new people

This page is managed by the Tenant Engagement Team in Housing Leeds, who offer advice and support for tenants, residents and community groups across the city. Take a look at our ‘Communities On Top’ document, which gives more information about what we do and how we can try and help.

How you and your group can get involved:

Please be respectful of each other.

Please do not:

  • include anyone’s personal information in your comments
  • make service requests here. (For all council services or repairs click here)
  • report fly-tipping, graffiti, or other anti-social behaviour. (To report these issues please visit this site)

My name is Penny. I help to run Horsforth Community Cafe at St Margaret's Parish Centre on Mondays. Volunteers use surplus food to make meals for the whole community on a pay as you feel basis. Proceeds are given back to the community.

Hello Everyone, I’m Jeff, chairman of the Westfield (TARA) in the LS19 area. We are quite an independent community as we have no assets and no community hub, no shops , club or pub on our estate. Our main method of communication is through social media. There are approximately 2200 tenants and resident on our estate. I look forward to see and sharing ideas with you. All the best for 2023. Jeff
